A first-time mom writes in to the show: her baby is four weeks old, she's running on empty, and her husband says taking the baby for even a few minutes after work is too much because he's tired too. Bobby's take is honest and kind, and it isn't the advice she expected. Instead of trying to make her husband understand the exhaustion he can't see for himself, Bobby says to shift the ask from mom-to-husband to wife-to-husband: I'm asking you to help me even if you don't get it, because I wouldn't ask if I didn't need it. It's a real, relatable moment about the early newborn weeks, uneven loads at home, and how sometimes you need the help before you get the understanding.
